God’s Wrath, the Lamb Slain, and the Tribulation Period

At What time in the future will God unleash His eschatological wrath? This has been a question of considerable debate in the past few years and deserves a Biblical answer. God’s Wrath, the Lamb Slain, and the Tribulation Period A major point that pre-tribulation adherents must come to grips with is how to answer mid-tribulationists, pre-wrathers, and post-tribulationists concerning the fact that the church will be kept from the hour of trial and the wrath of God poured out during the coming tribulation period. For pre tribulationists this is our defining moment – our blessed hope. The issue surfaces when those of other camps who are purists to their eschatological persuasion agree in principal that all Christians will be protected from God's wrath. The difference is, they (mainly pre-wrathers and post-tribulationists) for the most part and among other reasons, teach that God has placed the seal of the Spirit upon all believers as a protection from God's wrath du...

In 2015 It's Christmas 365

2014 is in the books but 2015 is here! I remember as a child thinking about the future. The 21st century was so far into the future that I could not even comprehend what it would be like; and now its 2015--wow! So what is the first thing that should be on every Christians prayer list? The older I get the more I realize that I need to be thankful for everyday and every blessing that comes with it. First and foremost my relationship to God. As Charles Stanley stated, "Our true identity is defined not by our past actions but by the Savior’s. Jesus purchased our lives with His blood and brought us into relationship with God the Father, who adopted us as beloved children." How cool is that? So first on my list is being so thankful for the gracious and merciful love of God. I know, there are a lot of naysayers who scoff at Christians who tout the mercy of God as they think themselves to be beyond the need of such a gracious gift. But like the Apostle Paul who stated, "Not...

To Live is Christ!!

We would be hard pressed to find a stronger confession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ than that the Apostle Paul declares in Galations 2:20: "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." Jesus Christ is our life, not only now but also in the eternity to come! Because of this, we can proclaim boldly (Col. 3:4, Heb. 4:16) that our life, as believers is really His "risen from the dead" empowered life within us!! Because He lives --we to live!! Praise God!! Daily hallelujah's ring loudly round the world because of His life glorifying praise within us! Jesus stated so thoughtfully, that when He departed to heaven He would not leave His disciples as orphans but that He would send a helper and comforter to indwell within us; One who would guide us into all truth bringing back to our rememberance the aw...

The Crack in Washington National Cathedral Exposed

As you know a couple of weeks back, the Washington National Cathedral suffered earthquake damage. This weekend the world will be able to view what the “Quakes Cracks” have exposed—an audience that perfectly pictures and illustrates the religions of the world left behind after Christ raptures His true church. In an article on Fox News titled, Evangelicals Left Off National Cathedral 9/11 Program the true church, “Evangelicals” are not invited. Interesting! The event will feature the dean of the Cathedral, the Bishop of Washington, a rabbi, Buddhist nun and incarnate lama, a Hindu priest, the president of the Islamic Society of North America and a Muslim musician. This is actually good news in that true Christianity is not being invited to mix with false religion! It is also just exactly what the Scriptures indicate will happen in the last days. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers...
